[QUOTE="Voyageur, post: 1072283, member: 17953"] I was on Amazon picking up a few things. It included a Brita water container. We can put it in our second fridge and keep cold water in it. I don't use the ice maker/water dispenser on the refrigerator. They never seem to work quite right. Also, a small Fry Daddy for the lady who comes in and does housework for use very two weeks. She's precious. She's always there when we need any help and don't want to take a nickel for the extra work. So, since we found out her Fry Daddy conked out this week, I ordered one for us to give to her to replace the one she had. I might add that she isn't our "housekeeper," or "maid." It may have started that way, but she's become more than that to us. She's there whenever we need anything and won't take a nickel over what we pay her to do the cleaning in our home every two weeks that my wife can no longer handle. She's family to us. Her husband, whom we met first, does all the work I can't handle myself. He doesn't ask for any amount of money; we just give him what we think the job was worth. That's how he wants it. Anyhow, that led me to Amazon Prime where I saw the picture below. The guy on the far left is an old friend of mine. We worked together for several years, and I've sat with him while he picked out music on his guitar years after he walked away from the music stage. I may have mentioned it before, but Bill turned a short music career - by his choice - into the money it took to get a top-level engineering degree. He ended up with a heart problem but kept working and kept on recording his own stuff at home in his studio he created for himself. I've probably mentioned how I'd sit with him and how so many did at EAA and at Blackhawk Farms raceway. The man was so talented. I miss him very much. If he was still alive I'd get him down to South Texas to do shows throughout the valley in retirement communities. He'd knock them off their seats! A picture of him in later years in his home studio, and a touch of his music. I loved him like a brother. He was such a great friend. I might add to those of you who like jazz, this is going to be right up your alley. The guy could put together some good stuff.
