this was against the worst run defense in the NFL

That said i think he should be our starting RB. I had a sense of excitement when he got the hand off something i haven't had since ahman green was here and healthy.

he hits the **** out of holes and punishes runners

maybe we are seeing why Ted gave up a draft pick for him

Unlike Wynn he carried the ball a few times without straining his pinky.

But the jury is still out on Gant. Reminds me a little of one Samkon Gado.

Morency hasn't done jack and Wynn doesn't seem to want to be healthy, I think the job is Grant's for now.

Yes, he looked good. Edgar Bennett has compared Grant to Dorsey Levens, and I could see a bit of that in him tonight. With Wynn and Morency always getting hurt, Grant may be the guy to go with as starter. He was in the doghouse for a couple of games (as in zero carries) because of that fumble in Minnesota, but all is forgiven.

Grant still has a ways to go, that miscommunication where Brett went to his right to hand off, only to realize that Grant had gone left showed Grant still has some work to do.

But he is a good runner, fast and hits the hole with like a bulldozer. He can also catch out of the backfield, and I think he has shown he can stay healthy.

He has earned the starters job for this Sunday.

PS - My God, Wynn is a whimp, this guy just can't stay healthy.

Rookie mistake. Give the kid some experience and we'll iron out those mistakes. I'm glad we got him. TT did the right thing giving up a late round draft pick for him. He has potential. I remember a lot of Giants fans being bummed when they lost him.

that hand-off was bretts fault if you whatch the play the line was blocking to the left grant went to the left and then brett went to the right (maybe the other way around im a little excited right now)

I don't think there is any question about how our starting RB is next week. Yes this was against the worst run defense in the league, but they DID hold parker to under a 100 last week I believe. Many thought they were "turning the corner" a bit, but Grant came out and punished their defense. I don't know if he's the answer, but he may be able to keep the spot warm for this season at least. If he can average 80 a game and at least be a threat I'll be thrilled!

Absolutely. EVERYONE went to the left. Brett messed up that play.

Yuo are correct, I didnt get to watch game was at work..But on break was listening to the radio when that play happened..Larry Mccaren said same exact thing..Brett was at fault for that one cuz the entire line was moving the way Grant was, and Brett went other way

Again LArry Mccaren pointed out how Grant hits the holes right away with out tip toeing around..

Unfortunately, most of us had to listen to the MNF dolts, who assured us the error was Grant's. Why? Because Favre has been in the league a lot longer than Grant. That's some cutting edge analysis, is it not?

Seriously, I REALLY liked what I saw tonight from Grant. And I was totally UNsurprised when Wynn hit the bench after his first carry:

"And DeShaun Wynn is questionable with a sprained ******....."
