The Packers signed Dial to a one year, $775,001 deal - that's $1 above the league minimum allowing the team to extend him before the start of the 2018 league year next March.

I'm really liking the Dial signing. Not a lot of money, $1 more bought us a second year option on him and it wasn't that he was not a good football player in San Fran, he just wasn't a good fit for their new 4-3. Even GM Lynch acknowledged that the Packer defense is a much better fit for Quinton.

Maybe Dial won't do much for the Packers, but I think there could be a huge upside with the guy and with really no risk (accept cutting Ringo to make room for him).
