    Is there a way to download and burn videos off of YouTube.com?

    Not that I'm aware of. Yet.

    When you upload them they reprocess them into a different format. I haven't figured it out yet.

    i know how to do it for googlevideo (unless they changed it)

    but not youtube

    No, tried to figure it out, but YouTube is pretty good at hiding the source when you do that View Source thingie.
