Where are the consequences? How can you dare put that guy back in the game after fumbling the ball at the end zone. No offense to Mike McCarthy but that is a serious part of what is wrong with this team. I'm telling you right now, if you let that kind of play go and you keep putting the guy back out there, the message you send is that it's ok not to make plays. Sit him on the bench.
Holding on Franks.

Allright guys...We live another day...

3 first downs for the Vikes...

Best chance to win, Childress...Umm, no.

Not pretty. But we'll take it. *Whew.*

A win yes, a worse draft pick is what we get :)

Still love beating and sweeping the vikes though so it's worth it!

A win is a win is a win. Franks better not play against the Bears. He should be so far down on the bench that he can't see the game. If he plays, the head coach should be fired. End of discussion. You cannot tolerate that kind of play from anyone on your team, if you do, you don't belong in this league as a coach.

Speaking of coaching, am I glad we didn't hire Childress. That guy is the worst coach in the league. I can't believe how badly coached that Viking team is. They are totally undisciplined.

I love how the media skirts the playoffs senarios...

Somebody on TV tell me what the Packers need to make the playoffs...Step-up...Break it down...Geesh...

There's too much confusion about what it "officially" is on the net...

Ya know someone on the radio called in an said something similar.

I was driving so I didn't get a chance to call in an slam him for it.

A better draft pick is not decided by WHERE you pick its HOW you pick. You can pick at number 20 every year an be better than those in the top five IF you pick the right guy.

That's the key. Selecting the right player, not where you pick.

WIN, WIN WIN WIN. Don't go San Antonio Spurs an tank a season to get Tim Duncan!!

Winning is confidence, winning makes free agents look at your team more appealing. WINNING IS GOOD!

Okay folks. We should be celebrating.
Let's look at it this way - we're 7-8. We swept both the Lions and the Vikings. We have a good shot at finishing the year 8-8 (we won't be seeing Bear starters much past halftime next week). Last year we were 4-12.

Let's pray for no injuries vs the Bears. 2007 is going to be good.

Don't forget the 30+ million for free agents Zombi!

And if that "right player" goes 7th and you are sitting on a 20 pick, I bet that loss or two wouldn't have been that big of a deal since you didn't even make the playoffs anyway.

Gee, you got me. I forgot there is only ONE good player in each draft.

There are many good players in the draft. You have to find the right guys for your system.

Where was Donald Driver selected?
Where was Aaron Kampman selected?

I'm not saying they should be taken in the first round. I'm saying there is plenty of talented players. You have to have a General Manager who is equipped with the knowledge to get them where you select.

You think its cool to lose to get high picks. I think its idiotic to lose to get high picks with the idea thats the best way to get the best player. Not YOU being idiotic, just the theory.

I'd rather win, make the most of the picks that you got where you get them.

Thats all. :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox: :soapbox:

So since there are many great picks in the later rounds we should trade our first round for several 4th,5th,6th (or later?)round picks?

Bubba Franks needs to buy Dave Rayner a lap dance. Franks had an awful game and Rayner's kick is going to make people forget much easier.
