The Packers Women's Association kicked off the opening football weekend by volunteering at the 2009 ASPIRO Awareness Walk on Saturday, Sept. 12th.
ASPIRO, a Green Bay organization that creates opportunities for people with disabilities to reach goals, connect community, and achieve independence, put on a fun event, full of life, for a great cause, and the PWA was proud to be a part of the Awareness Walk for the third year in a row.
The PWA was honored with the request to be the sole judges for the ASPIRO Chili Cook-Off, as part of the Awareness Walk. Courtney Finley, Emily Nelson, Diane Philbin, Karen Robinson, Ashley Green, and Laura Hawk had a great time meeting those attending the event and judging various chilies.
