At the end of 2012 Cold Hard Football Stats had the Packers no. 3 in the league in their Quality Stats Power Ranking, behind Seattle and Denver. Baltimore was no. 11--which tells you stats aren't everything. But, according to the numbers, we were the best in the NFC. Add to this any improvement in the defense and we're still as good as anyone. Check it out: http://www.coldhardfootballfacts.com/stats/

I think it's a pretty good spot. Don't know what the Bengals are doing where they are though....

IMO match ups are everything in the postseason. Rarely does the best team win it all.

Power rankings are all speculation at this point and a floating #. Look at what has happened to Denver with the loss of Kopen in a questionable line to start with and with the upcoming suspension of Von Miller for 4 games. Percy Harvin still isn't right with the Sea Hags, and the Ravens have lost Pita which is a big blow for them.

Only ranking that matters is the team that is a proven # 1 at the end of the season.
