Has anyone ever got ink re-fills from like Walgreens or somewhere else?

I am talking about you bring in your empty cartridge and have them re-fill it..

I would like to hear also, as I have thought about trying.

I know the old kits for do-it-yourself were worthless, but I would assume since these are retail outlets offering this service it must be better....right?

Be careful......my wife's business manager thought he'd save a few bucks and sent all the printer caertridges out to a suppossedly reputable place.
You can guess where this is going!!! Almost all of them leaked....some on the teachers, some on the papers and most leaked right into the printer itself.

Get a guarantee if you can. At least to clean or replace your clothes!

    I have, with mixed results.

If it's an HP cartridge they seem to be easier to re-fill than others .Not sure why or how but thats just my experience.

When you re-install them make sure you use the 'clean' feature on your printer to clean the cartridges. Makes a big difference.

I've also found it just easier to buy the little kit and do it myself, but it can be messy as my first try proved lol

We had them done once and they leaked, just buy new ones even though they are expensive.

i bought a new printer about 6 months ago. a cheap one. spent more on the ink than i did on the printer. it's just unreal how much they rape you for.
