Nothing to agree on, its a fact. Check the rules yourself bro.
When did I ever disagree that there wasn't a 45 man roster? Get off your high horse and read my post. I never once said there wasn't a 45 man roster.

I don't think it was done to 'save face' I mean hell he took a PUNTER in the 3rd round then if that wasnt enough he put him on a roster in which had a punter. Just what face did he save?
Thank you. You just repeated exactly what I was trying to say. By keeping Sander all year, That was Sherman's way of conning the public into thinking the team would be better. Sherman should have admitted his mistake by even drafting the kid so high--but then compounded that goof with another one by keeping the kid who couldn't punt on the roster all year. Sander did absolutely nothing on the bench while we had to use Chatman as a 3rd WR for 4 games while Fergie got hurt. Sander being on the 53 man roster prevented us from auditioning extra players.

Anyhow here is the info I stated I would search for.
Harlan said he basically came to his decision to relieve Sherman of the general manager's duties when he saw him agonizing over the situation involving cornerback Mike McKenzie. A holdout all of training camp, McKenzie reported the second week of the season with the intention only of getting traded.
And I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with getting schooled numerous other times during his GM tenure either, right. It was solely based on the MM debacle, right? WRONG. Sherman has a hideous track record during his tenure. Where do I start?
1. Lowballed KGB and Hunt with 3rd round tenders and then got schooled by Andy Reid when they jacked up the asking price that we had to match. If Sherman would have used first round tenders on those guys we wouldn't be paying Hunt or KGB the money we are right now. Those deals were cap-killers, and the sole reason why we were handcuffed from signing anyone of note for the past 5 off-seasons.
2. Joe Johnson. Need I say more? Yeah, I think I will say more. He was a real great free agent signing, huh? He played like maybe 20 snaps his whole career for GB, huh?
3. Sherman was a master at wasting draft picks. In 2003 we traded up to get Petersen and Lee, YES traded away 2 extra picks so we could move up and get 2 guys who can't even get on the field in 3 years. Do you want me to keep going?
