Last weekend i and Mrs. Cheesey went up north for a day. While we were driving along a back road by Pembine, I saw this deer standing in the woods. So i stopped the car and got this photo of it. I thought it was pretty neat and thought i'd share it with all of you.

JUst 2 days ago, i saw 5 deer feeding just off the road not even a mile from where i live. I went home to get my camera, but in the few minutes i was gone, they went back into the deeper woods and i couldn't see them anymore.
In Wisconsin i have seen deer, badgers, a wolverine, bears, and your more average wildlife.

    Nice pic cheesey!

Note the excellent depth of field. And for those of you who take photos, this pic is not with a digital but rather an old fashion film camera that is about as old as Cheesey himself. All manual I presume Cheesey?

yup Trippster! It was with my old 35mm Minolta Maxxum 7000 camera. My wife got it for me WAY back in 1986 for Christmas.
It is an "auto focus" camera, with the ability to switch to all manual. I can change shutter speed, aperature, depth of field, and auto or manual focus.
I had to swith to manual to take this photo. The camera would not have been able to focus on the deer, as it would have tried to focus on the trees and stuff between me and the deer.
    Thanks again Trippster! :D

It couldn't be as old as Cheesey, as I don't think cameras had been invented yet when Cheesey was born. :p  j/k

We actually had to use those kinds of cameras when i was in college!
We had an 8x10 and a 5x7 view camera. It gives you a REAL respect for what photographers had to do to make ONE photo back then. We had to take, develope, and print photos using them. It was pretty neat actually.

Back in the 1980's, i was hunting on some public land. I was on the edge of a cornfield, and when i looked around me, there were these strange looking plants..............i'm pretty sure they were "mary-juwanna". I got the heck outta there, in case someone thought i was messing with their "crop".

Me too!!! Nice broadside shot, with the vitals right where you want them, except for that tree branch in the way. I would have to wait for it to take ONE step, and it would be per..............oh..............you mean "camera shot".

Cheesey, were you searching for Bigfoot? Trying to get a photo of it? I hate to be the one to inform you that Bigfoot is a hoax. I pray to the lord that you will be able to continue to live a normal life now that someone has officially told you that Bigfoot is a hoax.

There is still hope. You can go to Loch Ness and try to get some photos of Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.

Cheesey, don't you know in order to be a hoax someone has had to see this mysterious creature or item..

Since no one has EVER SEEN a Viking SB trophy it can not be a hoax..

    But it would be fiction
