One more nugget I'd add that I read after the game - Love had a PFF grade of 99.7 against the Bears' blitz. I don't know if I have EVER seen a PFF grade that high, under any circumstance. Nothing comes to mind...

9/12, 171 yards, 3TD, 156.3 passer rating when blitzed.

Glad to see that Musgrave seems to be making the most of his opportunities. I wonder how much of a benefit his non-catch would've added. I feel like he's been grading out pretty well in recent weeks? OL has quietly started to have some solid performers too.

Astounding stat I heard today.

When Christian Watson isn’t on the field, Love has a 77 passing grade from PFF.

When Watson IS on the field - not necessarily targeted, just when he’s out there - that grade jumps up to 93!

Wow!

Goes to what we have often discussed here - when healthy, Watson's simple presence on the field makes the whole offense better. There was a stat floating around here a year or two back that showed Love's passer rating substantially higher when he was on the field than when he was not.

Not a good sign when 4 of your 5 worst offensive players are linemen.

Dude but half that list is in the 60s it’s a freaking epic day likely when your worst five are over 50 and three over 60
I think you're right - I had hold of the wrong end of the stick. The grades were low only by comparison, but not in absolute terms.

Had it completely wrong! Thanks.

Yeah it varies by position and adjusts each week but a 60-65% grade is often average to slightly above the group average. Now average isn’t something to brag on but here being bottom 5, it’s what I’d call a High Floor

The area that scares me is Riley, Brinson and Wooden
