So outside of the snaps; did Jenkins do better than Myers would have done?

A lot to work on after the bye. Particularly, on the offense.

I asked the questions about Morgan and Jenkins because with limited practice at center and L guard; it seemed like we didn't lose a lot. With additional practice; it could show that that is our best avenue for success. Jenkins would certainly feel more comfortable on his assignment and be able to concentrate better on hiking the ball. And Morgan too would gain from experience working on the L side. I don't see a reason not to play them there and see how it works out. Hopefully Rhyan won't be a liability. If he doesn't continue to improve...you gotta give someone else a chance. But he has the size and I think the desire. And I would have no problem spelling him for short periods to be ready to know who the next man up is.

The sloppy play was regrettable. When you are going to have a player or two out at a skill position like center that has to be a focus during the practice week. And bad weather cannot be an absolute excuse. In 2010 the Bears won the NFC North. Late in the season Brady and the Pats went into Soldier Field in a snowstorm. They torched the Bears that day as if it was a summer afternoon. Coaching is critical.

I'm surprised Jacobs wasn't listed in the best offense group.
That’s a very good point. Jacobs
108 All purpose yards was 5 yards behind Reed for the 2nd highest production for BOTH teams for all TE, WR and RB’s
Including his 7.1 per carry, this was one of his better efficiency marks this year
