5. Marc Bulger.
6. Matt Hasselbeck.
7. Philip Rivers.
8. Donovan McNabb.
9. Tony Romo.

Peter King's an idiot...

Romo sucked at the end of the year...

I wouldn't even put Favre behind Brees...

C'mon TT...give the guy some weapons....this is a reflection on your skills as a GM...don't embarass us anymore...

Hasselbeck was nothing special this year, and Romo only played half a season, tailing off at the end. Therefore, I've got Brett at 8.

To me it depends what you base your criteria. If it's just based on a QB to start a game tomorrow I'd take Brett at about 5 but if you talking into next season makes a difference to me cause guys like Romo and Rivers have pretty good upside so I can agree with King's list. Mcnabb might be the guy I pull out of there based on his trouble lasting a season anymore

This thread doesn't need to get into TT giving Favre weapons. We have at least a few dozen threads dedicated to those.

Make your own list.

1. Tom Brady
2. Peyton Manning
3. Carson Palmer
4. Drew Brees
5. Donovan McNabb (when healthy)
6. Matt Hasselbeck
7. Marc Bulger
8. Brett Favre
9. Phillip Rivers
10. Vince Young
11. Matt Leinart
12. Tony Romo
13. Ben Roelisberger
14. Chad Pennington
15. Jay Cutler

Peter King is probably the most respected writer and NFL Insider on the Planet. I say his work has some weight to it.

Hasselback was bulls-eyed for the 6-8 game stretch where Alexander was hurt and teams could key on him...I can live with Hasselbeck

Romo had a few game stretch which I'm considering to be a fluke...in part because he's only played like 8 games so far, but still

My Top 10

1. Peyton Manning (Although I hate him, hes in his prime with tons of talent behind him)
2.Tom Brady (Have to b/c of the superbowl wins, but he's not as physically talented as Favre or Brees)
3. Drew Brees (Again hes got more talent around him than Favre)
4. Brett Favre (Add Moss or Shockey and he goes to 1..... dont add them he goes lower .I put him here b/c the pacjers are on the bubble)
5. Carson Palmer
6. Donovan Mcnabb (Or garcia, whoever starts LOL)
7. Matt Hasselbeck
8. Vince Young
9. Marc Bulger
10. Tony Romo (Again the talent around him puts him here, or he'd be lower..Plus he isnt scared to throw the ball around the feild although it gets him in trouble)

I like Zero's list better than the original writers by a lot. Furthermore, we're rating the QB, NOT the talent around them.

Tom Brady
Peyton Manning
Brett Farve
Matt Hasselbeck
Drew Brees
Vince Young
Matt Leinart
Donovan McNabb
Phillip Rivers
Carson Palmer

Furthermore U R rating the QB!!!!.....IM rating the QB with respect to the talent around them....IF I was just rating the QB, I would have posted it as such..... U cant really rate a QB without rating the talent around them...Who's to say u put favre on the colts he wouldnt have 38 TD's and no Ints....U rate what u thinks relevant and Ill rate what I think is.... :whippin:

He's a puker and a choker in big games...

No way dude...McNabb not injured is as good if not better than every other QB outside of Manning.

You have to be joking.......Garcia impressed me more than mcnabb both abilty wise and leadership wise...

Donovan Mcnabb is the most overrated QB to ever play the game.
Hes terrible in big games and has the leadership ability of a blind goldfish.

the mere fact that his own fans would rather have jeff garcia as the qb... AND the fact that the philly team played just as well with garcia if not better than they did with donovan just goes to show you how overrated donovan is.
He has had one of the best multipurpose players ever in westbrook and still gets so much undeserved credit.

The list that matters. accounting for past progress and accomplishments and future promise. (using king's list)

1. Peyton Manning. (may very well be on his way to the best ever)
2. Drew Brees (watch him play. he isnt hyped he really is good)
3. Tom Brady gets the job done 9 out of 10 times.
4. Carson Palmer. (might have landed in a bad situation, but great)

5-7 are all at the same level right now. you definetly wouldnt pass them up and if you were stuck with them for a season... youd be a happy sob.
5. Brett Favre maybe living off legend... but still one of the best arms out
6. Matt Hasselback
7. Marc Bulger

the next 3 still have yet to play enough to warrant any major decisions but the upside is definetly there
8. Vince Young (unbelievable upside with a decent attitude)
9. Chad Pennington
10. Philip Rivers just not great yet... a great RB helps a lot.

the last 15 are all kinda jumbled together... very servicable but i dont think any of these guys are franchise qbs the way the top 5 could be.
11. Donovan McNabb some unique talents, but mostly overrated
12. Tony Romo - i cant believe he is even on this list really.
13. Ben Rothelisberger super bowl winner sure, but come on like he did it
14. Matt Leinart
15. Jay Cutler? this made me wanna puke... how is he the 15th best qb in the league.... ridiculous.

Mike Vick isnt on the list and thats ridiculous. 1000 yard rusher at the QB position.... wether or not you think hes a thug. the kid is a good player... would take vick about 6th on this list... right behind favre.
