GB gets production TODAY. The Bears were not “near-SB status” pre Khalil Mack trade. It was a desperation move that proved a failure. A 1 legged Aaron Rodgers verified this as he pummeled the Bears after a knee injury and similar pain injection. Not every injection = career critical status for a player or is or equivalent of a Severe Brain Trauma. Future Draft picks are not valued as today’s draft picks. Not to mention it takes many Draft selections 2,3 seasons just to ramp up. That’s not the case. We have HOF level play TODAY. A later Day 1 traded draft pick in 2026 is roughly like a #50 overall pre draft today. A 2027 later Day 1 is valued around a Top 75 selection today. Dallas got equivalent of a #45-50 +#70-75 in draft value. This is factual it’s well known in the GM community. The timing on the trades are key. Had Dallas waited 1 season and traded Micah PRE draft he’d be worth DOUBLE the draft equity or more. Dallas trading him for future years was a huge faux pas. GB actually got a HOF level player usable TODAY for the Draft Value Equivalent of around a Top 30-35 area selection. Then the Packers brilliantly paid for Micah using a 30yr old Player who wasn’t meeting their $21Mil annual production and will not be in our future plans. GB was a ready heavy at DL, so this actually did us a favor. The trade compensating for ~1/2 of the Parsons trade Payment. GB is essentially paying just an additional $22mil yearly over Kenny replacement and capital differences for a MASSIVE upgrade. That’s an absolute steal and it’s actually unheard of for a Top 2 Edge Rusher that’s just turned 26yrs old. Every GM that understands the magnitude of a HOF level player trade knows Dallas got fleeced. Add insult to injury they handed him over to their NFC Nemesis. That would be like Green Bay handing SF49ers our best player in 10 years.
