The Packers showed its major passing weakness: a deep middle route, i.e. Lee's long catch, between the safeties. Also, if safeties and linebackers are frozen by our play-actions and/or by receivers in middle crossing/drag/curl routes, the sidelines are open for fly routes in the 15-30 yards range. Thus, Favre did have chances to execute the sideline fly route, but he consistently accurate on these long throws to hit open receivers, e.g. four examples in the Redskins game.</s></strong></p></blockquote><p></p>
