Folks, I appreciate your enthusiasm and hope the Packers go on a run in the playoffs, if they get there. But the last 4 years they are 2-6 against the Lions. That is not being close, that is getting your arses kicked. The one football truism the Packers have not learned is that it all starts up front. They are not strong enough or physical enough to win these games. Matt LeFleur is bringing fancy cocktail toothpicks to a club fight Defensively, they can't cover a pass and they have trouble getting home rushing the passer in their base look.. A lot of first rounders are on the defense and yet no one is dominating. Their past coverage is horrendous. The techniques the D-backs are showing leave a lot to be desired. I don't understand how other teams can bring in guys off the street as D-backs and they stick to the wide receivers yet the Packers have these guys all year long and receivers are wide open. Realistically, did you think the Packers were going to stop the Lions on that last drive? I didn't.. Offensively, LaFleur called a bad game. His offensive line at times opens some holes, but he quickly leaves the running game. Again their lack of strength hurt them pass protecting. They continually got shoved right back into Love's face. And the penalties and turnovers continue to mount. Did .LaFleur say he thought Watson and Walker had a good games? If he did, I think his definition of good and my definition of good are not the same. I don't think fumbling, getting offensive pass interference calls and personal foul calls is playing a good game. it goes back to being smart out there. By the way, did you notice that after the Lions shoved the Packers seven yards down field on that last fourth down run, the Lion's o linemen mimicked the Packers money slap and first down signal? That was them basically telling them in your face and there's nothing you can do about it.
