Probably the same thing all those 3rd place teams fans are thinking. ;) The 3 teams that the Packers play due to their 3rd place finish are: Broncos, Cardinals and Panthers. All 3 teams are on the rise. I never put a lot of weight into schedules looking easy or hard, especially this early. The timing of injuries and when the Packers meet said opponents seem to play a bigger role in outcomes. This past season, the Packers got "lucky" in at least 3 games that come to mind; Rams, Texans and 49'ers. If memory serves me correct, all 3 teams were missing important starters when the Packers played them. Even the 2 wins against the Seahawks and Saints were aided by both teams playing without their starting QB for either the entire game or part of it. Stay healthy and play teams when they aren't, was a formula the Packers seemed to thrive on in 2024, until it all unraveled and went to the opposite extreme against the Eagles.
