Message: <blockquote data-quote="Heyjoe4" data-source="post: 1078924" data-attributes="member: 13032">Gotcha, thanks gopkrs.  I didn't know Aikman may have had a drinking problem.  Personally, I don't like him.  But he certainly earned his way to the HOF, and his color commentary is insightful.I don't like it when people say that "Color Commentator "XYZ" doesn't like the Packers".  It's hard to know if that's true or not.  But I really think Aikman dislikes the Packers, and it is subtly reflected in his comments.  Non-Packer fans wouldn't notice.  And it's not a big deal as he only covers one Packer MNF game each season, aside from the playoffs.And I guess Aikman's dislike of the Packers is to be expected.  The Packers and Cowboys have a looooooong history as rivals, with the capstone being the Ice Bowl.  Aikman's Cowboys owned the Pack for a number of years.  Favre got the Packers back to regularly beating the Cowboys, and the Packers have mostly had the upper hand since.</blockquote>
