I rest my case. For three weeks I've been saying that LeFleur is forcing the issue with McManus and I have no idea what's going on in his head. What happened against the Eagles is pretty much what I expected could happen. We got beat because of poor decision making by both LeFleur and Love. An amazing display of defense by the Packers was destroyed by the ineptness of the offense. The misses by McManus are more on LeFleur than on McManus himself. He knew that he was not ready to return to the job and it's costing us games. It makes me ask a question about LeFleur. Is it a stubborn attitude? Is it him listening to poor advice from others? Something is definitely off because when someone like me can sit on a couch and see the problems before even the media starts to yap about it, we know that changes need to be made. The problem is that those changes are up to Gute & LeFleur, and I can't see anything changing whatsoever that's significant on the sidelines. It is what it is. McManus & Jacobs have both blown the whistle on LeFleur's decision making. The frustrations I see with Doubs is because of Love's inability to see the field and make good decisions. The offensive line is makeshift game after game because someone in the organization thinks they can take almost anyone and turn them into a player who can play anywhere on that offensive line, and nothing could be further from the truth. The Packers could still make the playoffs but as far as going all the way? Not a snowball's chance in that hot place because of the decision making on the part of two people. We can be a good team, but I don't see us becoming king of the hill.
