Spot on KoJ. It is demoralizing to a defense to only allow 10 points, hold maybe the best back in the NFL to 60 yards, and still lose. Yes, the offense is out of control. MLF lacks the traits of a leader, the traits necessary to turn around a struggling them, or in this case, a struggling offense. Looking at him along the sideline gives me no confidence, as a fan. So what do his players think? I don't even know where to start. Love is regressing, but is that on him or on MLF's very predictable play calling. Inb an article in the JS this morning, players noted that the Eagles were calling out the play, before the play, and there were no audible options. WTF is that? So two things will happen, and each seem equally likely - 1) MLF slowly, but surely, makes changes to the game plan. Defenses stop shouting out the play call before the snap. Aside an excellent defense, the offense improves enough to will close games. 2) Nothing changes on this inept offense. Losses mount, morale drops, and the season, especially after acquiring Parsons, is a disaster. I believe the first thing will happen. All the offense had to do last night was produce one more TD, or two FGs for a win against the champs. So huge change isn't really needed. But MLF has made truly bad decisions. Last night it was putting Melton back at receiver. And Love is always good for one or two truly bad plays. Last night he basically ran backwards for an awful, 14-yard loss. As for the fumble, well that's a team failure.
