Had it still been 6-3 maybe. But MLF knows his only chance to win is to get points. That 1st drive of the game was very disappointing.

I still think if you get 2 yards there it’s a 53 yard try. Why are we passing at a FG?

Then if you get 3 yards it’s a 4th n 1 try.


Then possibly you get 4 yards and it’s a 1st down at the Ari34.

Why in the world are we calling a 20+ low probability play? Get some momentum first. Basic theology and we’ve done this nearly every other contest for about 2+ years.

Ed Donnatel got fired for that. That D sacked McNabb 11 times that day but the wrong defense was called and our MLB was a rookie who misread the down and distance. Hafley has McKinney and Parsons out there. They had plenty of time to get the D focused and set for that.

I think MLF was happy when Rodgers left because he thought Love would follow his game plan better. Which seems to be the case, but his game plans haven't been that impressive.

Nothing against Love but I distinctly remember posters talking about how with Rodgers gone, LaFleur would finally be able to implement the game plan that he wanted to… and suggesting that we were actually in some ways being held back by Rodgers because he wouldn’t follow MLF’s script… lol
