I guess the Packers at Bengals weren’t an anomoly after all. Flacco is tearing up the Steelers also. Flacco just translated beautifully in Cincinnati. He uses veteran Savvy and above average accuracy to dinc and dunk for 6.1 per toss. He’s only been Sacked once by the Steelers, who have a good pass rush.
Bengals also came out opening drive 3rd Qtr and are just manipulating their way downfield. Similar to last week.
We should learn from watching that. We face the Steelers next week. Rodgers cannot have all that time. Flacco said the key to beating Pittsburgh was meeting their physicality. Bengals did just that.

I want to point out some of Nixon's numbers this season, according to thecoldwire.com...

PFF assigned him the 4th best coverage grade, and 4th best overall grade among CBs.

He may be doing better than a lot of us realized...
While I agree Nixon has been better then a lot of people realize this year I find it hard to completely trust rankings that include "hasnt given up a TD this year" when I quite litterally saw Chase just last week catch a TD against him.

Yes it was an amazing catch but it was also going to be PI if he hadn't caught it

Rodgers still has very good footwork. That said he’s going to need more than that because the GB D pass rush is a faster than the Bengals. IMO it’s a matter of time before our Pass Rush gets home.

Also Warren Brinson was a nice surprise, in his first Start he was our highest graded Defender (nearly 85 PFF grade) Generally speaking that doesn’t happen by accident.
The bulk of teams get that 1 or 2 players from Day 3 that surprise. In our last Championship Run those guys were CJ Wilson and James Starks. Something tells me Brinson is going to be that guy. If somehow we could get our USC star RB healthy we could have a repeat duo at DL/RB from the draft.

Brinson performing at a high level last week couldn’t have come at a better time. We can say with confidence that the Bengals are probably better than their record. However the record speaks to the truth of who a team is. Last year Chicago was a good example. This year Arizona could be 5-1 or 1-5 but they struggle to finish and 2-4 represents the truth. Just like our weird 3-1-1 tells we perform a little unbalanced at times.

Fact remains the Bengals scored 18 points at home and we all 100% know we played C- on Defense. Had we played a complete game and Love not kissed away points on Drive #1? It’s an easy 30-18; 34-13 etc.

One big thing that helped Cincy was getting turnovers. Rodgers threw 2.
