Meanwhile second-half LaFleur is a guy you simply cannot sign to an extension.

All well and good to have a great first half but if you can't make a single impactful adjustment (or counter-adjustment) in the second half, what's the point?

Lather, rinse, repeat. We beat the hell out of them all through the first half while Johnson studies our game plan and takes notes, at halftime he goes into the locker room and makes adjustments, and when they come out, they kick our ***** while Lafleur stands there looking like his dog just got run over by a car.
