Meanwhile second-half LaFleur is a guy you simply cannot sign to an extension.

All well and good to have a great first half but if you can't make a single impactful adjustment (or counter-adjustment) in the second half, what's the point?

Here's the fundamental mismatch. Matt ALWAYS wants to slow it down when we've got a lead. Love is at his best when he's playing with tempo. Trying to play the "control" game absolutely hamstrings your $200m QB and is exactly what Chicago wants.

He could try not being an idiot and stick with the same offense that has been successful all game. Just a crazy idea.
