I don't see a reason given for the yellow.

I'm guessing that the color green is because of Green Bay.
Does anyone know if yellow represents anything or is it just a nice compliment with the green?

maybe because acme had yellow in their business trademark to begin with ...?

IIRC Curly picked the original Blue and Gold to mimic Notre Dame team colors. The Green? I don't know off hand.

Just add striped sleeves to the jerseys and I'd be happy. I'd even accept an undershirt with striped sleeves if sleeves on the jerseys are too archaic.

The yellow comes from the original uniforms that were blue and gold--copied from Notre Dame by Curly Lambeau.

It's like they change their uniform look, and not always for the better, for like every single game.

The Packers have the best uniforms in the NFL. I don't need a change, however I do agree....I wish the yellow was more of the original gold color and not so bright.

Actually I do like the Bears uniforms quite a bit. I like the classic uniforms. Ours, the Bears, the Colts, the Browns, and the Raiders top the list for me.

Personally, I love the uniforms because they are so traditional. Realistically, other teams and their fans are probably envious of the long and storied history of the older teams. At the end of the day, from top to bottom, the packers are not a gimmicky organization... and i love that.
