I'm a little concerned about the whole idea of trading Doubs to be honest. His concussions and suspension shouldn't play into the equation. Of all the receivers the Packers have, his biggest assets are exactly what Love needs to see on the field. Last year the Packers offense believed they were a quick strike team that could really open up the field with the long passes. In the process, Doubs and Reed were constantly overlooked in the route tree despite being wide open. It a greater number of those longer passes, they ended up as incompletions, and didn't do much to further the offense. Fans are way too quick to throw someone under the bus and anoint a new guy coming into town as the best player since the invention of sliced white bread. The Packers have a solid WR room this year even with what's going to be 2 newbies taking up a lot of oxygen in the learning curve. My biggest concern is going to be how well Love sees the field, and the players working off the ball. The great QBs see everyone out there, and make those reads, and throw to them to move the chains and maintain possession. My #1 concern on this team at this point is the defensive line. I just don't think we have the horses to put top 5 defense pressure on QBs to insure everyone else can do their jobs effectively. As for whom I'd trade. I won't have a clue until I see what the 2nd & 3rd year players and newbies bring to the table in camp.
