The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports LB Marcus Randall, who started 14 games as a quarterback at Louisiana State from 2002-'04, signed a free-agent contract with the Packers as a linebacker. Randall, 6 feet 1½ inches and 228 pounds, was signed by Tennessee as an undrafted rookie in '05 and converted to safety, where he played three games.
