Packers sign Bouman to back up Favre

The Green Bay Packers, as expected, have signed a quarterback to bolster their depleted signal-caller position.
FOXSports.com has learned that Green Bay on Tuesday signed former Vikings and Saints QB Todd Bouman. Bouman started three games for the Saints last year but had a poor showing with a 54.7 rating. However, in 2001 Bouman started three games when Daunte Culpepper was benched and had a terrific showing with a 98.3 and eight touchdowns to just four picks.
Bouman was brought in yesterday along with younger QBs J.T. O'Sullivan and Bradlee Van Pelt. Bouman, however, had the inside track as he is familiar with Mike McCarthy's system having been with him in New Orleans a few years ago.
Bouman was signed because backup Aaron Rodgers broke his foot Sunday and starter Brett Favre is held up by an elbow injury

The stuff I read today is he will be QB#2. The team doesn't think Ingle(his parents should be shot for naming him that) can't hack it yet.

Nooooo . . . . Did we all forget!?!? This guy was a Queen that was one of the three Queens allegedly involved in that big time **** at a snowmobile party a few years back. The Queens released/traded him immediately.
Are we not doing background checks on these guys and what is the deal with us taking troubled ex-Queens. Its alot harder for me to rip on my Queen supporting friends for their Felon Team when we do stuff like this.

The Bouman signing has more to it than first meets the eye.
1)Brett retires after this year.
2)TT determines A-Rod can't hack it.
3) Ingle Martin is your starter.
Bouman isn't Brett Favre or he wouldn't be on the waiver wire. But he is a veteran with plenty of game action experience.
It could come about that A-Rod battles Bouman for a job next year and the loser is out.

No brady quinn. Im actually hoping we dont have a chance at him in the draft...meaning we have a much better record
