trollmadz, not bad! Better than tt-romadz.

but i like how you say "packers ruin chance at one more run for glory. . ." when free agency isnt even near being done, we are a month away from the draft, havent had one mini camp yet, and oh yeah, our new coaches, havent even coached one game yet.

but lil man, lay off the name calling. the admins will eat you alive.

Washington is over the hill.

He's overweight.

He's 37 years old and he struggled last season in Oakland for the most part..

Pickett is YOUNGER and BETTER at this points in their careers. Pickett had more tackles. more assists and more sacks. He's also less injury proned..

The gregster agrees with others here that Ted Washington is getting up there in years, and we are better to go with the younger Pickett.

Gregster also questions why shoopster thinks that the Packers' poor track record with high draft picks has anything to do with this year's pick, considering that we have a different GM now. Furthermore, shoopster's conviction that the Packers will either "trade down or a draft a bust" strikes gregster as overly negative, considering that there is a third option out there, which is to actually draft a player who is good.

Gregster wonders why shoopster thinks a good defense should be built through the draft and a good offense should be built through free agency. Gregster thinks shoopster just pulled that one out of his rear end, and is wondering if shoopster has any examples to prove otherwise.

Hey, it's fun writing like this. Gregster thinks everybody in the forum should write like this from now on....

Ted Thompson, Mike McCarthy , and javon walker all have one thing in common, all will endure short tenures as green bay packers . . . The offseason that everyone will want to forget is this one, a one in which the pack will be known for having a boat load of cash, hiring the wrong coach, chasing brett favre into retirement and not satisfying an elite wr in javon walker therefore trading or releasing him to go to another team in which he will go to many probowls . . .

Ryan pickett(fence) is a decent run stopper but nothing that special, and the shoopster ask's why pickett over washington? Indeed big ol' teddy is getting up there in age, but his ability to stop the run is better than anyone else who has ever played defense in the nfl. With all that money the pack should have thrown it at top players to help bring one more superbowl to the pack and send favre off the right way. (Mount)Washington along with rocky (Saint)bernard would have given the pack a top interior d-line teamed with kampman and KGB on the outside would have given the packers the best d-line in the nfl . . .

Julian peterson, ty law, jamie sharper, adam archuleta, terrell owens, how come the pack did not pursue any of them? The shoopster ain't sayin' they should have signed them all, the shoopster is just wondering with all the money the pack have, why not pursue top players? Hmm, maybe thompson and jerry "slick" angelo are twins seperated at birth? . . .

The shoopster is very anxious to see what the pack do with the fifth pick . . . trade down or draft a bust? As we know, when the pack pick high, they don't pick good, need the shoopster eimd you of former high first rond busts such as, Tony Mandarich , Wayne Simmons, Jamal Reynolds, Brent Fullwood, and Ken Ruettgers. Ah memories . . . indeed . . .

None the less the packers must now look towards the future, they need a successful draft inoder to have any hope for the future . . . brett favre's day's are done, he will retire and sadly go out the way he came in . . .

The shoopster warn's thompson to stay away from a.j. hawk, he will be the next Broderick Thomas, instead go with mario williams aka the next reggie white or even muchael huff. The packers need to rebuild now, and building a defense through the draft is the way to go, offense can and should be aquired via free agency, the only exception of drafting offense is offensive lineman, and max jean-gilles should make a great round two pick for the packers. Round three the shoopster see's a player named a.j. nicholson who will fit in nicely with our beloved packers. As long as thompson followers the shoopster's lead and does as he say's, the pack will contending before you know it . . .

Speaking in the 3rd person is far less ridiculous than prognostic statements concerning the future claiming ruination by a program that has replaced a program of declining failure, and an outcome that has become obvious, and plain for all to see. If you want to play the donkey tag game, you better first learn how to stick it properly!

why are you talking in 3rd person? that's just silly :p

and Ted Washington wouldn't be a good pickup either, old fat and lazy, pickett will be much better.

All the FA's you want are either overpaid or teamdestroyers....

tell me are you really a bears or vikings fan trying to stir things up?
washington is better than anything the packers have. Watch him play. Read my intro thread.
LOL pickett is only 20 something and led all D-Lineman in the NFL IN tackles with 115!!! thats 115 tackles!!!!!!! for sure this thread is pointless

Oh, yeah!!

He won't last 100 posts before he blows!

Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who was reminded of Chase/SW when I read this.

Shoopster, you gotta stop talking in third person. It gets annoying REALLY FAST.

Give our staff some time, no one can be FAIRLY and OBJECTIVLY evlauated after so little time on the job. But not to worry, All Aboutster knows his plea will fall on deaf years...

I haven't seen the Steelers spend ridiculous amounts on money on players to build their team.

Well unlike the packers, the steelers can actually draft good players and have a good coaching staff . . . That's why . . .

Didn't you used to ber a Bear fan. Are you a defector? Thats a shame. :wall:

Someone wished pain and misery to the Packer fans and it came in the form of the shoopster. Enjoy! :mossfro:

Great, that bag o'wind known as Poopster is on this site as well. Even the majority of Bears fans hate that wanna-be novelist.

(As the the Cheesehog-ster gets off his Harley, he see's out of the corner of his eye), THE SHOOPSTER, from the Chicago Bears forum!(ala John Shoop), the best offensive co-ordinator the Bears ever had. "The Hogster walks slowly up to this "fair-haired", "bug eyed" offensive co-ordinator." The Shoopster turns around and has a blank look in his eyes  ! The Hogster say's, ...............

"Man, I wish you were still coaching in Chicago".
