Packers pick Dom Capers for the DC position

I like both takes on the Capers signing. My take is that the Pack already have a solid secondary, two solid linebackers, and Kampman. If the Packers acquire two pass rushers and Capers gets the most out of players like Harrell, Pickett, Jolley, and Jenkins, and Thompson, this defense could really excel. Capers job is to the most out of his players within the system.

what we really need for defense is just to get pressure on the qb. if that happens that means more mistakes by the other team which would be very helpful against the teams we are vsing . we could put the hurt on the weak qbs in this division. When we vsed jacksonville david garrad had the most hits for a qb in the league we sacked him TWO TIMES!!! And guess who they were by??? They were by Charles Woodson and Aj Hawk.......... Are corner back was second on the team in sacks............... The lack of pressure on a qb will make any qb look good. Hopefully thats what capers does is gets more pressure and help with the run defense

this is exactly what happened this year with our D. We didnt have hardly any pressure on the QBs which allowed them to pick apart our great secondary. Any QB with enough time is going to find a open receiver.

We just need to add great QB pressure and to our already great secondary and we are go to go for the play offs this year IMO.
