Pickett, Packers prove a good fit

For some free agents, the Green Bay Packers can be a tough sell.

Many players take one look at the NFL’s smallest market and decide to look elsewhere.

But as soon as Ryan Pickett had a chance to see Green Bay, he saw it as home.

“As soon as my wife, Jennifer, got here, she just fell in love with it,â€

(i suck at tongue twisters!)

but yeah...pickett looks like it will work out nicely. our d-line has great depth.

Judging by Javon's 'manhood comments' I have to say about 2 inches ;)

His wife made his decision. Guess it goes with the saying that if you want to sell your house, make sure the kitchen is the first thing you remodel since it's the wives who choose the home! GB residents, make sure to show the wives of any big OL FA a great time in GB!

That other Rams first round draft pick the Packers traded for last year was a good player. That was a worthwhile trade, seriously. Now he is with the Raiders.

The Packers need a pass rush up the middle. Without Jenkins there would have been less than none. Anything from Pickett will appear huge.

Well hes a DT were paying him to stuff the run not get more than a few sacks and if he can get more than a few sacks its just bonus

yep exactly. We signed him to help our running defense which was awful last year. I think he can do just that. He's younger, and healthy and is coming off a breakout like season. I like him over Jackson. We're getting guys who want to work hard. Ala Pickett, Jenkins, Cole and losing guys who don't feel like working.. Hunt and Jackson...

I've heard him more than once say he is improved as a passrusher and will surprise people.

I like that.
