We need to stay the course Offensively and Defensively. Sunday, I noticed on at least one drive, where we played man to man off the LOS and I just about fainted I was so excited. Then, we held them on 1st and 2nd downs! Then we dropped that concept and reverted back to zone coverage on 3rd down and the Bengals converted. We also did this on at least one TD pass in the middle of the Endzone, we let their WR's run rampant without being contested while playing zone. This resulted in an easy TD. However the QB had to throw quickly due to pass rush pressure.. and that play had a high chance resulting in an incomplete pass or a stop if we would've harassed the WR off the line and slowed him down 1 second. Either play full press or don't play full press, but don't change midstream something that is working. As I've said, I think we'll be fine. I 'ain't gonna lie, I was a little worried about my 24-20 GB prediction after the 1st half. But it's no big secret that GB was not playing with a full hand and that the Bengals have an above average Defense. Nice job to our Defense who started slow.. but then only gave up 17 total points (due to a pick 6). We just need to get healthy and keep getting these rookies involved. We haven't even seen what Montravius or Biegel are all about yet. Our running game should gradually improve as O-line starters return and we get some experience in our backfield. Concerning our running game, we're a very young squad, especially without Bulaga and Bakh.
