The Green Bay Packers on Tuesday announced a donation to Brown County's new Community Treatment Center, with a component of the donation supporting a commissioned series of art pieces by Green Bay artist Scott Menzel.
Menzel's pieces, titled "Seed of Life," will be on display in the entrance to the county's new facility on Green Bay's northeast side. Other components covered by the donation include flat screen TVs and other appliances. The total value of the donation is $25,000.
"It's a pleasure to continue our partnership with Brown County with this contribution to the new Community Treatment Center," said Packers President/CEO Mark Murphy. "The new facility is going to serve the people of our county very well and we're excited to be involved in such a unique way through supporting Scott's wonderful work."
