FANS CAN BUY AND SELL TICKETS ON SAFE AND SECURE SITE

Move complements Packers' use of Ticketmaster's Online Season Ticket Account Management System

The Green Bay Packers, in partnership with Ticketmaster (NASDAQ:TKTM), Tuesday announced the launch of Packers Ticket Exchange, a service that provides fans looking to buy or sell Packers tickets a safe, convenient and NFL-endorsed resale platform.

Through the groundbreaking agreement, Ticketmaster will operate the official Packers Ticket Exchange that will be accessible from Packers.com, Ticketmaster.com and NFL.com.

"This is another excellent addition to the online resources we offer our ticket holders and fans," said Mark Wagner, Packers director of ticket operations. "Our ticket holders already have been taking advantage of our online account management system, and Ticket Exchange now offers a convenient, team-approved method of selling their tickets to other fans."

"Packers fans expect and deserve to be able to buy and sell their tickets in a safe and easy way," said Eric Korman, Executive Vice President of Ticketmaster. "We're excited to extend our relationship with the Green Bay Packers team as their official resale partner. This is a great win for Packers fans who will benefit from the security and simplicity of our Ticket Exchange platform."

For season-ticket holders, the process is easy through using the 'My Packers Account' feature on Packers.com. After logging in, ticket holders choose the tickets to be sold and they are automatically posted for sale.

Interested buyers simply log on to www.packers.com/ticketexchange to look for tickets. Instructions for setting up an account for Packers Ticket Exchange are available, and buyers are led through the process.

Everything else is automatic. Ticketmaster's exclusive electronic barcode technology allows for ticket delivery to be accomplished online, with the buyer printing his or her tickets to the game. The printed tickets are then used at the scanners located at Lambeau Field's stadium gates.

It wouldn't be Ticketmaster without ridiculous fees!

They already have that other service, Ticketmaster Marketplace or whatever it is called. When other teams whose tickets are in high demand sell their single-game tickets on Ticketmaster, all the scalpers swoop in and within a minute the games sell out and tons of the tickets are available on Ticketmaster's second site, so they're making double the fees and jacking up the prices. I've seen this several times while trying to buy tickets for Packers away games.
