Level Of Friday's Snowfall Will Determine Need; 9 A.M. Report Time Saturday If Needed

The Green Bay Packers Thursday issued a "Lambeau Shovel Advisory" for Saturday morning, Dec. 26, meaning a need to shovel out Lambeau Field may arise depending on the level of snowfall Friday.

If a full-scale shoveling operation is not needed, a need for workers to help spread ice melt may exist as well.

Ted Eisenreich, the Packers' director of facility operations, will decide early Saturday morning if snow removal or help with ice melt is needed. At 5 a.m. Saturday, would-be assistants can check the team's Web site, www.packers.com, or call 920/569-7100 to find out if help is needed.

If help is needed, shovelers - as many as 400 - should report to the Mills Fleet Farm Gate on Lambeau Field's west side, beginning at 9 a.m. and continuing as long as needed. If help with ice melt is required, as many as 100 workers ..
