Wow. Not much of a religious guy, but I'll pray for this kid.

You'll get more religious as you see more things in life, and towards the end of life on Earth.

I read and watched this story/video last night. Makes me cry too.

    Maybe.

Had my quarrels with the big man over some personal matters. But, yeah, life's not fair, things do have a way to come around, but it's not all the time that good things happen to really good people and bad things happen to really bad people. Sometimes it's the other way around, unfortunately, and I'm not big on having faith that everything happens for a reason.

You're probably right, it's probably because I haven't seen enough...

Anyway, didn't want to go all philosophical...

Poor kid. Life is always a struggle no matter how good you have it. At some point we all will face something disastrous in our lives (I have, and will the rest of my life). Life is a string of moments of joy in between disasters to keep us chugging along until the next one. That's the reason we as rational beings need to be kind to one other. We are all in this life together, no reason to make it worse on each other than it already can be. That kid is going through a horrible horrible time, so it's nice to see Ryan Grant take some time to bring some joy to his life. That's awesome.

"This world holds no promise for us, only the next life after this one does." (my butchered quote of Justinian I).

I'm not very religious either, but I'll be praying for you Ryan!

Wow, I'm at a loss of words. Grant class act for stepping up to the plate and not just showing you a good football player but also a good caring human being. Prayers go out to the little kid.
