"Part of the reason the Packers are evolving on defense is because, simply put, it's time to do so. This will be the fourth season since former coordinator Jim Bates brought this defense from the Miami Dolphins. Of the projected starters, all but safety Atari Bigby have at least two seasons in the system. Six have played all three seasons in it."

How many times has it been written, these guys need time to develope.
I also am looking foward to a young hungry defense flying all over the place.
As the article pretty much states"it all starts with the front 4", they get pressure and everything falls into place.

Amen. McCarthy is really coming around as a confident head coach. I bet it drives him absolutely nuts they got so close to the superbowl and let it slip through their fingers.

Now he has to take it out on opposing offenses with nasty blitzes of doom.

I think it was Fritz Shurmer who said, If you can't get to the QB with four guys, rush five. If you can't get to him with five, rush six. And if you can't get to him with six, rush three and drop eight back into coverage.
