[QUOTE="Bogart, post: 393911, member: 3900"] Yep that's true, and it's hard to believe that Brees' won a Super Bowl with average receivers after all the tipped passes they would drop and let get picked off last season and this season so far. That's why I always say their biggest weapon is screens. They were on the right track cutting Reggie Bush and replacing him with Sproles, but still, they don't even try to run the ball like they should.I always have said for the last 3 years that the Saints Wide receivers would be back ups to the old 49ers if they played in that era. They are average at best, and as much as I like Colston and Moore, they also let balls bounce out of their hands and into interceptions when they are cornered and pressured. I'll be hearing it the rest of the week all the Brees/Favre comparing from my folks that are blaming it all on him for that interception in the end zone that ended the game yesterday, but I don't think it was all his fault. Of those 3 interceptions, 1 was a tipped pass and their defense really is the blame for yesterday's lose. They let Tampa Bay carve them up running the ball. The Lions are going to be a feel good story around this season similar to how the Saints were back in 2009, but I don't see them going all the way. They finally lost a game, and while I can't badmouth them and say they suck with a record of 5-1, I do think they are going to meet some very tough games down the road. They've got a good enough schedule to win 10 games though, but lack of running game is going to come back and haunt them the same way it did us last year unless they fix it late in the season.
