Charles Woodson intercepted Cincinnati quarterback Carson Palmer twice in the first half, one that set up a score and another that he returned for a touchdown, as the Packers and Bengals are tied at 21 at halftime.

The Bengals scored on the first drive of the game, marching down the field for a seven-play, 63-yard drive that was capped off with a 5-yard touchdown pass from Palmer to wide receiver Laveranues Coles. Running back Cedric Benson provided the bulk of the offense on the drive, including three 12-yard runs.

Green Bay answered on their next possession, driving 80 yards in 11 plays. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers found tight end Spencer Havner over the middle for a 21-yard pickup on a third down, and connected with wide receiver James Jones for a 16-yard gain on another third down. On third-and-goal from the 3, Rodgers rolled out to his right and hooked up with wide receiver Donald Driver on the right sideline in the end zone for the score to tie the game at 7.
