Once again I find myself feeling like this team is just lacking for some…mental fortitude, for lack of a better word. When we can play as front-runners we are as good as any team in the league. But - generally speaking - we are just not able to cope well with adversity.

Of course any talk of firing is wildly premature (except for perhaps Bisaccia…) but at some point I think you also have to ask… how long is reasonable to keep convincing ourselves something is going to change? For whatever reason it seems like LaFleur is simply incapable of getting his teams to play consistently disciplined and sharp football. How many years have we seen these sort of scenarios play out for - at this point should we really continue to expect him to “fix” it?

It’s because we consistently have the youngest team in the league. There’s something to be said to have verterans. Seems like once the momentum shifts against this team they falter, just like the previous 14 years.

Of course better with Lamb in but they have two legit TEs, Pickens is a jump ball phenom and Turpin is a solid (not great).
