Effort To Support Wisconsin Hunger Task Force And Paul's Pantry

The Green Bay Packers and Sargento now are in their seventh season teaming together to support "Touchdowns for Charity," a program that raises money for the Wisconsin Hunger Task Force in Milwaukee County and Paul's Pantry in Green Bay.

For each offensive touchdown scored by the Packers during the 2009 regular season, Sargento is donating $1,000 to the Hunger Task Force. Additionally, Sargento is donating $500 to Paul's Pantry for every touchdown scored by a wide receiver.

After last weekend's season-opening win over the Bears, $2,000 (on two offensive TDs) has been raised for the Hunger Task Force and $500 (on one TD scored by wide receivers) for Paul's Pantry.

Since partnering six years ago, Sargento - the official cheese of the Green Bay Packers and Lambeau Field - has contributed more than $422,500 to Wisconsin food charities such as the Hunger Task Force and Paul's P..
