The best predictor is college stats, but almost every football expert I’ve seen said that Gary played “out of position” and that he should play DE in the NFL to be able to assert his dominant speed and burst. He also played through a shoulder injury last year which hampered his production, so we can’t necessarily ignore that anyway.Much of this sport is projection. After some more specific research, I can see him as a solid #12 pick and he’s a nice Chess piece that Pettine can utilize to get pressure in the backfield and keep the running game in check.
