Because of the extra cap space becoming available and more money to spend there is the opinion that KGB could probably get $5 mil as a pass rush specialist.

This means he would probably not be agreeable to restructuring his contract.

Bubba's another story. Hard to say what will happen there. Beyond being a decent blocker his pass catching days look to be behind him. He seems clumsy and awkward out there and you might as well keep him in short turn around routes cause he's not going anywhere after he catches it.

He's signed thru like 2009. Geesh, I doubt he will be hardly walking by then.

I thought Harris was mad because he was getting less money? Unless there are some bonus things not included in this.

I can't recall Harris every complaining that he was getting less money than anyone specifically. I remember him saying he was getting to the end of his career wants to get his 'last big contract' or words to that effect.

there is the article about Harris being upset it says this is what Harris wants...........

Harris would like roughly $5 million in a two-tiered roster bonus this season. He'd also like a Pro Bowl incentive of up to $1.5 million added to his current deal.

"And now we're on the clock. I'm not getting any younger, so I have to take a business approach to it."

Harris is unhappy with the six-year, $18.635 million contract extension he signed in September 2004. Harris' deal contained $7 million in bonuses that weren't all guaranteed. And his remaining base salaries are $1.5 million this year, $2.2 million in 2007, $2.85 million in 2008 and $3 million in 2009.

Harris is thought to be agitated over Green Bay's signing of free-agent cornerback Charles Woodson to a seven-year, $39.03 million deal this off-season that could pay Woodson as much as $10.2 million in 2006 alone. But one source said Harris was more upset with the deal the Packers gave to Aaron Kampman this off-season that gave the defensive end $12 million in guaranteed money.

This segment goes along with what I was saying. He didn't say he wanted more money because of Woodson's contract specifically.
He regretted signing the contract he signed a few years back stating he should have waited to see what the market would offer. With that mindset, it would appear (to me) he had faith in the Packers doing him right and now feels he was slighted and wants it corrected.

Considering his high level of play, I don't see any backlash in the clubhouse if Ted gives him some new cash incentives an bonus's.
