    Well--it’s finally here-the week that establishes bragging rights for the next several weeks...and may lead to a TIE for 2nd place in the NFCN !! (woo-hoo)

    THE SILENCE FROM BOTH GREEN BAY AND MINNESOTA FANS
    IS A TRAGIC COMMENT ON THE WAY THIS SEASON'S GOING
    USUALLY BY THE TIME THE SCHEDULE IS HALF DONE
    ONE OF THESE TEAMS' FANS WOULD BE LOUDLY CROWING

    BUT THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT FROM THE NORM
    AS NEITHER TEAM HAS A LOT TO TALK ABOUT
    THEY'VE BOTH FALLEN SHORT OF EXPECTATIONS
    AND THE FANS ARE WONDERING WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT

    LAST WEEK'S GAMES WERE TRULY A CASE IN POINT
    OF HOW BOTH TEAMS' SEASONS HAVE GONE
    MINNESOTA WENT WEST WHILE GREEN BAY WENT EAST
    BUT IN BOTH CASES EVERYTHING WENT WRONG
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    THE VIKINGS' DEFENSE HELD STRONG AND FAST
    KEEPING THE 'NINERS FROM THE END ZONE
    BUT THE VIKING OFFENSE SPUTTERED AND STALLED
    LEAVING THEIR FANS TO SHUDDER AND MOAN
    BRAD JOHNSON FUMBLED TWICE AND THREW A PICK
    WHILE THE RUNNING GAME COULDN'T GET ON TRACK
    ONCE IT LOOKED LIKE THEY'D SCORED ON A PASS
    BUT A PENALTY BROUGHT THE FOOTBALL BACK
    MINNESOTA COULDN'T MOVE THE BALL
    AND THEY CERTAINLY COULDN'T SCORE
    THEY ONLY MANAGED A MEASLY FIELD GOAL
    WHILE THE 'NINERS KICKED ONE AND THEN TWO MORE
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    THE PACKERS TOO FACED A TRYING TIME
    AS THEY FACED THE LOWLY BUFFALO BILLS
    THEY OUTGAINED THAT TEAM SO MASSIVELY
    THAT GREEN BAY'S FANS WERE HAVING CHILLS

    LATE IN THE GAME THE PACK WAS RUNNING WELL
    WITH A FIRST DOWN AT THE ONE-YARD LINE
    KNOWING A SCORE WOULD FORCE A TIE
    AND THE GAME WOULD TURN OUT JUST FINE

    FOR WHATEVER REASON McCARTHY CALLED FOR A PASS
    IT WAS TIPPED AND WENT HORRIBLY WRONG
    FOR THE BILLS PICKED IT OFF AND THEN RAN IT BACK
    AND ANY CHANCE GREEN BAY HAD SAID "SO LONG"
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    SO WHO WILL WIN THIS WEEK'S GAME?
    THE ANSWER ISN'T VERY CLEAR
    BOTH TEAMS' STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES BALANCE OUT
    THOUGH NEITHER EXACTLY INSPIRES TOO MUCH FEAR
    BRETT FAVRE SHOULD BE THE DIFFERENCE
    FOR UNLIKE HIS VIKINGS' COUNTERPART
    HE CAN STILL THROW THE BALL DOWNFIELD
    FOR HIS ARM IS AS STRONG AS HIS HEART
    SO WHILE THE VACUUMS ARE CLEANING UP
    THE TURF AT THE HUMPHREY METRODOME
    THE VIKES WILL BE LICKING THE LOSER'S WOUNDS
    AS THE WINNERS BOARD THEIR PLANE FOR HOME
    Green Bay lost to the Buffalo Bills 24-10
    Minnesota lost to the San Francisco Forty-Niners 3-9
    Ryan Longwell refers to himself as "we."
    I hate him for that
    Sharper and Winfield run back two interceptions for TDs and a Longwell kick in the first quarter.
    At least you're not delusional enough to think your offense will score anything more than a FG!
    Nicely done. I really have nothing to say but you have way too much time on your hands. You must have spent days looking for that post.
    I think we should win a close one but I don't see Green running wild especially since the Williams boys in the middle are probably the best DL duo in the league. As long as if we get a lead we don't blow it like last year
