The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday, Aug. 21, they have signed undrafted free-agent TE Erryn Cobb (Northwestern).

He is projected at either FB or TE... here is the Gil Brandt scouting report on him

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Northwestern TE Erryn Cobb measured a height of 6-foot 7/8 and a weight of 239 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds and 4.70 seconds, the short shuttle in 4.33 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.11 seconds. He measured a 32-inch vertical jump, a 9-foot-2 broad jump and completed 23 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press.

General: Four-year letterwinner ... Team co-captain his senior year ... Talented athlete and one of team's unsung heroes ... Experienced player who led by example and gave the offense a physical presence ... Played in 49 career games.

2006: One of four team captains ... Recipient of team's George W. Ballantine Award (given for enthusiasm and leadership) ... Starting superback (tight end/fullback) ...
