Time to get pumped for the first preseason game of the year.

All you jethros can post your ramblings here so as to not clutter the board with nonsense, which I know we love to do.

Let the complaining begin at about 6:30.

I hope Ingle Martin gets about 5-6 series for himself. He needs to show Rodgers who the master of the clipboard is. Get out of my 2nd-string Rodgers.

hell yes i agree with you on ingle martin, i think aaron rodgers was a waste of a pick. I was hoping they would have traded him while he was worth something and that would be the reason they picked him up but, nope hes a backup that will not work cannot work and must not work.

I'm mostly gonna look at how the defense does. I hope we are the top defense this year.

Ingle will prove the haters wrong.

    Favre - 1 or 2 series
    Rodgers - 2nd quarter
    Martin - 2nd half

    That's how I want it.

I've read encouraging things about Aaron and discouraging things about Ingle.

From what I've read, that's pretty much how it's going to go. I read somewhere that the #4 guy (I think his name is Paul Thompson) is not going to play. But after watching the scrimmage, I think that guy might beat out Ingle Martin for the #3 QB job.

Finally we get to see this version of the Packers in action.
I for one will be watching the play of the first string O-line.
This will be a good test for them going against a 3-4 blitzing defense.

Let's hope for an injury free game.

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it!

Hopefully we non-wisconsin fans can find a way to watch the game through the power of the interwebs.

I'm watching tomorrow's coverage on NFLN.

But I'll be following along here and on packersnews.com insider blog.

And of course, reading as many articles I can after the game to get a feel for how the players looked.

I'm going to go out on a limb here. TT fan, right?

    :rotflmao:

Seriously though, the #1 thing to get from this game is coming out of it injury free.

Next, we need to see how the running game will do- OL, RB and FB.

Next, we need the WR and KR/PR positions to shake themselves out a little bit.

We also need to make some decisions in the defensive backfield.

In reality, I'm guessing all but a few roster positions are decided already. There's a few guys who are riding the bubble and/or fighting for a position on the PS at this point.

We need to stay healthy and be competitive.

Wow! Former MVP Rich Gannon is on the Packers' local T.V. broadcast team here in Milwaukee on channel 4.

    Interesting.....
