Our O-line still needs work

    I think the major problem we had yesterday was our O-line. It seems like they are still trying to grasp the concept of and implement the zone blocking scheme.

    How many times did you see Clifton get confused or wasn't blocking anyone?
    How many times were there holding calls?
    How many times did you see the Bears players stuff the rush?

    It also seemed like they were undersized, particularly the 4th and inches where they got pushed back by the Bears. Maybe our Strength and Conditioning coach needs to buff these guys up a little.

    But I believe that as we play more games, the O-line will start to understand how to zone block and get our offensive back on track. This just shows you how important offensive line guys are, even though they get none of the credit.
