The Jaguars sure looked like a good team. Bottles is going to an elite QB pretty soon.

Studs:
-2nd half defense. Only 6 points allowed in the half and game winning stop. The Jaguars offense looks VERY good and them using an extra down multiple times makes them even tougher.

-Pass blocking was incredible. Rodgers had all day.

-Clay and Perry. They were all over the field.

Duds:
- Early run defense, although it improved as the game went on.

-The Packers 2nd to last offensive drive. Ugly one there with the run for a loss, timeout, and delay of game.

Overall, nice game. Go Pack!

Jacksonville showed that there's a chance they'll be a decent team, so winning there is a good result in my eyes after what i saw.

not that it's all rosey, thought we gave away a few soft 1st downs, and obviously the 4th down conversions for jax

but thought our O played fairly well for the most, and good to see Jordy getting a few catches and the TD, with some strong running from Eddie also

Jacksonville roster is scary. Blake and those TE and receivers. Disgusting talent on D... I mean even just their 3 big D picks in the last two years Ramsey, Fowler, Jack is a crazy core to build on. Glad we played them week 1.

Stud: Lacy. He didn't have much room to run, but broke a lot of tackles and often got extra yards after contact. He'll never be a speedy guy, but he doesn't have to be.

Ha-Ha Clinton Dix with some nice pass break ups and ALMOST a game winning interception.
Rodgers. Slow 1st quarter but started looking good soon after.

Clay Matthews was everywhere today
Defense played well. Jacksonville offense was better than ours last year. They're going to be good this year.

Duds:
The sun for putting us inside the 5 on a few occasions early and putting us off to a slow start.
The heat
That call to pitch to Lacy when we were trying to run the clock out. Take him up the middle!

Stud: lacy Joe Thomas several times, Rodgers for both amazing to passes

Duds: 4th down d, pass d in general. Oline not getting audible on gl 3rd down.
Also, again... play calling. Same pattern of plays, same predictable playcalls, felt like a 6 play game.

Have to agree with making Adams a stud. Thought he should have caught that early deep ball but he more than made up for it, especially the td catch.

Nice over the shoulder catch by Rodgers as well.

1/2 Dud for McCarthy at the goal line against Jacksonville,send a message Mike 4th down their D was gassed, I remember Seattle, have more confidence in your weapons .

Not sure who messed when line gropped into pass blocking on a run play. That almost cost us the game.

Maybe our offense should give him a reason to go for it on that 4th down? Going up by 7 is a lot different than taking a lead of 3. And they failed to move the ball an inch on 2 consecutive downs inside the 5? That doesn't exactly I still confidence

They had two chances to get the yards inside the 5. Granted I like bootlegs on those plays because I don't think GB has the blocking to power drive into the endzone. FG to go up by 7 was the right call IMO. Mainly because it worked.

Capers sure didn't make the defenders get beat on 4th downs. The WRs often won their match ups today. There was a mix of zone and man play on 4th down too so the plays certainly weren't the same.
