You seem to be a reoccurring recipient of this dubious distinction. I actually quit griping about you a while back when I realized you are like a cockroach and simply never die. I have nothing against you as a person Sean I simply think you aren't very good or at least good enough to be running special teams on this good of a squad. The offense almost always lives up to their end. The defense is up and down but these last 2 games have been niiice. Plus there are many more variables with defense as a whole in comparison to ST where it's pretty cut and dry on what each play will entail short of the occasional home run play. For years we have watched as your units underachieve. This went wrong that went wrong. Some crap excuse comes up and before you know it Slocum has been pardoned more times than a death rower in California. Get him gone already Coach! We all know that come playoff time a botched play here or there change field position which changes game-plan which changes scoreboards. This looks like a team we had a few years back in that they are starting to play with some serious fire and both the verbal and physical leadership is showing up on the big plays and that's the stuff everyone listens to. I think we have more than enough quality special team cats to run much cleaner and consistently. The only constant (other than Mason but I am ok with him) in the ST futility is you and me thinks you've had long enough to put together a stout unit that doesn't make stupid errors as often as yours do.

Damn, you would think I wasn't pumped about the game?!? We looked really good again and I think Clay in the middle owns a big part of that. He is still getting to pressure the QB and actually sacking better since the move but more importantly his athleticism is causing problems in the middle where they are used to attacking us. It is well known that Hawk is no Hawk Island and for that matter he isn't even a reef. TE's could roam the middle knowing that Hawk would be close but most times juuust not close enough to matter. Runners would typically have more space to operate because A.J. is good at one thing and that's running full speed in a straight line. He either gets you or he runs by you like a blur. Claymaker has freaky athleticism and uses that quick twitch crap to maneuver in tight spaces and be where 50 can't be. I like A.J. He is a constant tough guy who gets guys lined up and you always know where he will be like it or not. I believe 52 has enough talent to be really good there and that these first 2 games are more the new norm than a lucky transition. We are starting to get some steady pressure from the line and Teddy needs some lovins because Peppers is proving to be a baller. Pep is making big, game changing plays on the regular and I hope people realize that Tight Was Ted chiseled that coinpurse open for the first time in a while and it's paying dividends. We have a lot of playmakers on D and if and when they start clicking could be a unit that gives a lot of teams a headache.

The offense is balling and that side needs nothing but praise. 12 better get his second MVP this year or there is something wrong with the voting process. He is playing at a level that other's just aren't. I was telling my wife during the game and trying to explain how sick it is that he almost never gets a ball picked. Some guys get lucky and DB's have stone hands the day they square off. Most QB's are in the "he will throw you one" camp but AR just dices fools when he is playing in this zone. It is so fun to watch and all I can say is damn we have had a lot of good ball to watch and appreciate for some time now thanks to our franchises wealth in QB play! Can you imagine being a Browns fan or a Bucs fan or a Falcons fan? I feel blessed to be born where I was and raised by a family smart enough to raise me the right way. The green and gold way. [QUOTE="SoonerPack, post: 581199, member: 9838"] Studs: Lang and Sitton for being grown *** men and playing the game the old school way..."tape it up".
