Am I reading too much into his body language or does Jennings seem unhappy? He wanted nothing to do with finley yesterday after he caught the TD and didn't seem that happy in general. No Lambeau leap either. I hope this doesn't continue, as it seems uncharacteristic of our former #1 WR

I noticed it too...

He went from trying to cheer up Crosby on the sideline, to acting like he did yesterday..

My theory is that he is unhappy and is just playing this season out...It is his way to distance himself from GB so when he does leave, it isnt to ******* him

He's on the field now with Nelson out. But while he was away, Cobb and Jones stole the show. For him to feel the thunder again he would have to make some key plays like he did in the 2010 post season.
He knows what the result could be after this season and he cannot do too much about it.
But he is a professional and cherishes another ring if it is in sight. I'd be thankful to see him all business and just get it done. His cheerleading days should go to the next generation now.

Unless ur a big guy like Raji I would think a Lambeau leap is a must. Who wouldn't want to do a Lambeau leap after scoring. Besides several other teams do Lambeau leaps when they score but of course call it something different

He doesn't seem to care. I agree. Although his effort would be appreciated right now. We do have a chance

He sat out for a while, AR got comfortable with other targets, and now because of that, even though he is back, he hasn't gotten the targets, hasn't gotten going, hasn't shifted defences, hasn't gotten the production he wants, hurting his contract leverage for next year, costing him money. Finley may be more of a priority target than him right now. I'm not sure if I was MM I would play him when Nelson comes back. That scares me, and I'm sure it scares him.

They tried to name it something else (ie "fedex flop") Daniels went for it.

Definately true about affecting his money. The rest of it sounds like a good possibility

I get him being upset about Rodgers missing him being wide open. But that happens to every WR.

Jennings is all but gone. I see more of a chance of keeping Finley now than Jennings. Finley has been turning in some good performances these last 3 weeks and if he keeps it up, he may just keep his paycheck for next year.

I think he's upset because he has had some missed oppertunity's to make some plays. The thing with him and Rodgers is they need to get back the timing because Rodgers did miss him on an easy touchdown..however Rodgers got him on a quick hitch that he audibled to make it up to Jennings to get him that score. I still think that Jennings is our best Wr and he will be valuable come the playoffs.

Maybe he had an argument with his wife that morning. Who knows. These guys have a life besides football too.

In that commercial, how is Doug able to talk on his cell phone while on an airplane? And the comment, "I wish Jennings was in my lap" concerns me.

Don't like that commercial. ;)

I think he has a case of the "short timers syndrome". He is half way out the door. Wont bother me to see him go, he has become less of a threat since his return from surgery and has lost speed. His time here is done IMO. Jones has proven to be a real time performer and his hands have improved 100%. With Jordy nelson, James Jones, Cobb....we have enough ammo to have a shootout with any other pass happy team. TT will find us a gem in the draft and get us a tall, lean and mean, hands guy type WR. Plus, you never know who will be free after this season, we may be able to save draft picks for the O line or ILB and pick up some WR talent from free agency.

Why wouldn't McCarthy start Jennings when Nelson comes back? If all the WRs are healthy I'd expect Jennings and Nelson to start and Cobb and Jones to get a lot of snaps (and BTW for Driver to be inactive). I think Jennings stretches Ds better than the other WRs on the team and he still attracts double teams which help to free up the others.

I don't know if Jennings is upset but if he is angry that Rodgers missed him, shame on him. Only a WR who has never run the wrong route and never dropped an easy pass has the "right" to be angry about that - and no WR who has played more than a few snaps is in that position. If he's upset because Cobb has taken over a lot of the snaps at the slot receiver spot, that's the way of the NFL - look at Cobb's production. If he's angry or frustrated because his injury has reduced his market value, that's a dead end road. If he's angry the Packers haven't negotiated with his agent and are going to let him test free agency IMO he needs a dose of reality he could gain by objectively looking at the Packers' depth at WR and the upcoming contracts of Rodgers and Matthews. And if his contract expectations are $16M/year as has been reported, I think he's going to be disappointed no matter where he's playing next season. However, if he's angry because it took so long for the Packers medical staff to send him to a specialist to diagnose his injury, I'm right there with him. That's really my only complaint regarding Packers injuries - it seems to me they don't seek out expert opinions on injuries quickly.

Anyway I don't know if he's upset or not but if he is, it better not affect his play Sunday or in the playoffs. Because if it does he will turn out not to the player and man many of us think he is. And not giving 100% effort would affect his value in the league perhaps more than his status of recovering from injury.

Cant wait to see those 4 at this point lined up. Jennings, Nelson, Cobb, and Jones. Its going to be a nightmare for anyone to try and stop them. Excited to see Grant with his fresh legs too. This team is peaking at the right time.

Yep, the only way to consistently stop the Packers' passing attack is to get to Rodgers. If the OL and the play caller can protect him by keeping Ds off balance... :D

Those 4 WRs, plus Finley as a mismatch, or DuJuan Harris outta the backfield with nobody covering him..... as long as the OL can give Rodgers 2 oe 3 seconds, he will find the mismatch and carve the hell out of these defenses.

2.5 seconds to be precise:
The Packers are introducing a new gadget in training camp, a 2.5-second clock on the sidelines that’s used to alert players on passing plays. The clock, which is used during seven-on-seven and team drills, is set at 2.5 seconds and starts when the ball is snapped. When it runs to zero, a subdued siren sounds and colored lights flash. Coach Mike McCarthy said most pass plays are designed to have the quarterback throw within 2.4 or 2.5 seconds, and that the device is useful for both sides of the ball.

Have you ever had abdominal surgery? It takes a loooong time to recover and it amazes me Greg is back as soon as he is. I don't think he's unhappy, I think he's feeling mortal. Hope to see him his jolly old self in the coming weeks.
